For over 30 years after its release, John Dugan’s only screen credits were in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, playing the disturbing, beyond elderly grandfather of the Sawyer family, and a cameo in the fourth film in the series, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. But, despite playing a character that did not have dialogue and barely moved without assistance, Grandpa’s creep factor was so high that no horror fan could ever forget him. John returned to screen acting in 2007 with roles in horror features such as Monstrosity, Butcher Boys, The Hospital, The Boogeyman, and Rock, Paper, Scissors, and in 2013 he brought Grandpa back to the big screen in Texas Chainsaw 3D. John will be with us this October at the DCU Center, and we hope you’ll be with us as well!
